Using our tug Seaway Joan, an excavator mounted on one of our Poseidon sectional barge platforms, and our Terex RT-670 crane on shore we installed a new Meeco Sullivan public docking system with up to 56 boat slips, new gangways and foundations for the Village of Waddington’s new public marina.

The first phase of this project required the demolition of an existing deteriorated crib dock at Picnic Point using an excavator on one of our sectional barge platforms. The debris was then disposed of at a designated upland site.
For the next phase, we constructed the crib dock on a sectional barge platform and transported it to the site where it was launched and towed into place.
Once in position, the dock was filled with granite stone and the finish carpentry work was completed.
